ALPINE CONSERVATIVES
Alpine is more than where we live. It is a community we care deeply about, and one whose unique character and future are worth protecting. As the Republican candidates for Alpine Borough Council, we are asking for your support this November. While we are proud to run as Alpine Conservatives, endorsed by Bergen County Republicans, we believe good local government should be about more than political labels. It should be measured by whether it is transparent, accessible, accountable, and
responsive to the residents it serves. Those principles form the foundation of our campaign

ABOUT DAVIDEXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & COMMITMENT TO ALPINE
• Deep Roots in Alpine — I have called Alpine home for more than five decades and attended Alpine School myself. I later raised my three children through the Alpine School system and served our school community for more than 14 years as a parent volunteer.• 22+ Years of Continuous Public Service — I have served Alpine continuously, without interruption, since 2004. I was appointed by our current Mayor to the Zoning Board, Planning Board and Borough Council, was subsequently elected twice by Alpine voters, and currently serve as your Borough Councilman.• Extensive Municipal & Land-Use Experience — My more than two decades of public service have given me firsthand experience with zoning, planning, development, building matters, municipal operations, budgeting and the issues that directly affect Alpine residents and their properties.• Finance, Real Estate & Business Experience — I hold a B.S. in Finance and have spent my professional career as an entrepreneur with extensive experience in finance, real estate, investment and business. I bring that experience in financial analysis, negotiation, problem-solving and sound decision-making to my responsibilities on the Borough Council.• Independent & Accountable Representation — I approach each issue on its merits, guided by the facts, sound judgment and what I believe is in Alpine’s best long-term interest. I am willing to ask difficult questions, challenge conventional thinking when necessary, insist on appropriate oversight and transparency, and remain directly accountable and accessible to the residents I was elected to represent.

• Played violin poorly once upon a time, too old to sugar coat the truth.

Yes Alpine taxes are low, but did anyone realize that 2026 was low because the County tax went down, whereas the municipal tax rate was up 5.4%?
ACCESSIBILITY
Residents should be to free to directly communicate with their elected officials, rather than having those communications unnecessarily filtered or routed through the Clerk and Mayor. Once elected, we will work with out fellow Council members to improve direct access and communication between residents and their representatives.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT & ACCOUNTABILITY
Ensure that Alpine's governing body actively participates in decision-making and reflects the will of its voters, with each Council member exercising independent judgement rather than simply following a predetermined position or agenda.
PRESERVE ALPINE'S UNIQUE CHARACTER
Address overbuilding and overdevelopment that continue to change the character of our neighborhoods. Work to review and amend outdated building codes and ordinances, strengthen appropriate enforcement mechanisms, ensure our regulations better serve the needs of our Police Department, Fire Department, DPW, Environmental Commission, Planning Board, and Zoning Board.
RESPONSIBLE GOVERNANCE AS IT WAS INTENDED
Restore the proper balance of authority established by Alpine's "Strong Council, Weak Mayor" form of government, ensuring that the governing body functions collectively, transparently, and with appropriate checks and balances to protect the effective operation of our borough now and in the future.
